    The RF Engineer will provide technical expertise in system solutions and RF design for a small team in the design, development, integration and test of operational prototypes.


    • Draft technical requirements, configuration management, and planning documentation. Design, characterize, and analyze RF systems, including antennas and other RF components.
    • Integrate and test RF systems.
    • Perform modeling and simulation using digital and analog circuit CAD tools (e.g., PSpice and ADS).
    • Provides technical RF support to ensure proper operations, maintenance, and engineering on satellite communications equipment and related systems.
    • The Level 3 RF Engineer shall be proficient in level 1& 2 RF Engineering capabilities, to perform task in conjunction with task applicable to the SOW.
    •  Optimize end-to-end system performance (e.g., capacity, margins, data quality, etc.) and dataflow management
    • Perform security testing and design evaluations.
    • Analyze network characteristics (e.g., traffic connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes, and throughput), troubleshoots problems, and recommends modification of network configurations. 
    • Validate new and existing dataflow and data formats.


    • U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government issued Top Secret w/ Full Scope Poly clearance and the ability to maintain this level clearance.
    • 20 years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics; or 10 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
    • Hands-on experience doing “design-bench-deploy”. Specialized RF design experience in lower-power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi technology, antennas, RF propagation and RF test equipment is desired.
