The Network Analyst will support the Department Of Defense (DoD) Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Teleport Program Office (TPO), which provides tactical users remote access to the Defense Information Switched Network (DISN). The TPO requires operational and technical subject matter expert support, consistent with established commercial and government standards, concerning SATCOM and telecommunications systems integration, implementation, configuration management, logistics, and program management within CONUS and overseas areas of operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide global implementation and integration support for our client's Teleport project.
  • Provide close coordination with the systems engineering group, I&I engineers and mission partner counterparts on existing and newly deployed Teleport Sub-Systems
  • Assist with the development and design of future DoD Gateway architectures
  • Develop configuration and implementation guides
  • Develop On-Site Acceptance Test (OSAT) plans
  • Conduct Implementation Readiness Reviews (IRR)
  • Conduct site surveys of the client locations where the Teleport System is to be deployed
  • Draft, review, and update Teleport System Operations Documents and Teleport System Baseline Documents
  • Attend technical interchange meetings and discussions concerning all changes to the Teleport System
  • Analyze proposed changes to the system for performance, security, and operational impacts

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen with active Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain this level clearance
  • 10 years of experience operating, maintaining, integrating, and implementing IP based SATCOM baseband systems
  • CCNA or CCENT certification or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Experience with designing and securing global Voice over IP for networks utilizing Cisco Call Managers
  • Familiarity with AEHF systems particularly (NMT)
  • Familiarity with specific hardware configuration, troubleshooting and design constraints
  • Familiarity with creating a WBS, ability to establish a micro project plan of execution
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, domestic and international
  • Preferred experience with DoDIN systems and centers
  • Preferred undergraduate degree in Computer Science
  • Preferred experience with unified communication systems (voice)
