The Director, Wireless Sales is responsible for increasing the company’s growth and targets for new business within the Wireless market by actively selling the company’s hosted and managed wireless services, including 2/3/4G network services, value added services, MVNE, IoT and M2M services to government and commercial customers.  


  • Provide direction, leadership, planning, execution, follow-up, and reporting of all sales activities.
  • Manage key account relationships with direct and channel customers.
  • Drive the sales process from identification of leads and opportunities to successfully signed contracts.
  • Plan, implement, and execute new business sales strategy and explore new markets.
  • Meet targets for new business revenue generation and growth for contracted customers.
  • Provide regular updates of progress in Salesforce CRM.
  • Forecast and client and pipeline sales across product and service lines.
  • Secure new contracts and maintain “good standing” with existing agreements.
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
  • Represent company at key industry events and trade shows.
  • Provide reports on changes and innovation in the industry.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitor initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day customer support input to resolve customer problems and issues.
  • Interface with customer, at all levels, gathering technical facts to support the quotation and contracting process to include business development efforts and customer penetration strategy.
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements and propose product and/or service to satisfy customer’s needs.
  • Develop the personal relationships with clients by going out and meeting key accounts and customers.
  • Proactively conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers on a regular basis to review service needs, usage trends and identify opportunities to continually improve service.


  • BA or BS in Engineering, Business, Marketing or other related disciplines or equivalent experience 
  • 5 years of communication and wireless sales experience
  • Experience with a tier 1 or 2 carrier, or major enterprise company as a Key Account Manager
  • Strong knowledge of cellular networks, core networks, GSM, CDMA, HSPA/UMTS and LTE technologies
  • Experience with GSM and Ericsson MSC/BSC/HLR/VAS
  • Experience in CDMA network engineering
  • Experience preparing Capex & Opex budgets
  • Experience selling IOT solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with ability to resolve complex matters
  • Ability to interface with the IOT team to enhance existing products and develop new products
  • Ability to interface with wireless technical team to develop pricing strategy and solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results
  • Abilty to problem-solve complex communications solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure with aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time both domestic and international
  • Ability to manage a geographically dispersed territory
  • Ability to work from a remote office or NY headquarters
  • Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce
