The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control in a timely, accurate and actionable manner for corporate reporting.



  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to include periodic reports for internal and external audiences, including forecasts, budgets, actual vs. budget reports, board presentations and financial metrics reports
  • Analyze opex, cost allocations and network operations to include variance analysis and cost saving opportunities
  • Conduct and interpret detailed financial analysis
  • Performs business case analysis with appropriate assumptions and payback analysis
  • Analyze economic drives of the business client such as customer churn and renewals
  • Manage pipeline analysis such as win/loss analysis; pipeline summary analysis of new business and conversion into budget or forecast
  • Prepare cost projections
  • Conduct thorough research of historical financial data
  • Compile and analyze financial reports and find discrepancies that require senior management’s attention
  • Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies
  • Forecast models for revenue changes and expenditure increases/decreases
  • Provide end of month report for monthly business review and appropriate analysis and trend information
  • Operate in an environment of continuous improvement to include identification, development and creation of opportunities for enhanced business processes in order to maximize customer satisfaction, accuracy and efficiency in all processes
  • Ability to collect information, interpret and prioritize its significance, and organize into presentations that support business decisions. This includes graphs and charts in easy to understand manner


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Account or Economics
  • 10+ years’ experience working in finance and/or accounting or combination of education and experience
  • Ability to be discreet with highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; proficiency with management information systems and all MS office applications (proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is essential.) The Business Partner must be a self-starter, organized, detail oriented, motivated, work independently, and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment

  • Maturity and perspective which add value beyond the finance function; ability to assume broader responsibilities, to help set strategic direction to establish operating priorities
  • Understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes
  • Knowledge of common business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis
  • Must be able to handle sensitive materials and maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Must have high level interpersonal skills and able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.  Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.

  • Experience with at least one company that has revenue in excess of $100 million
  • Interest in process improvement and implementing best practices
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems


Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • MBA in Finance or Accounting
  • Working in a business with Private Equity ownership
