The Software Engineer will develop and maintain new or improved software products, procedures, and techniques. This role will provide innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions to meet technical objectives and timing.


  • Develop software systems utilizing various coding technologies
  • Review current systems and making improvements to known defects
  • Work closely with test engineers, designers, and other staff in a team based environment
  • Produce detailed specifications for assigned tasks
  • With increasing experience and seniority, supervise and mentor junior engineers; participate in activities to define and implement frameworks and design practices, as well as in knowledge-sharing activities.


  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance 
  • 3 - 5 years of experience developing enterprise web systems
  • 3 years of professional experience with C# and .NET
  • 3 years of professional experience with ASP.NET MVC
  • 2 years of professional experience with development for mobile platforms.
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, CMS, REST, AJAX, XML, XSL, jQuery)
  • Experience with Entity Framework or LinQ
  • Experience in writing Stored Procedures and understanding database designs
  • Expert understanding of object-oriented design principles and architectures
  • Experience with build automation, continuous integration, and source code branching strategies
  • Solid understanding of .NET security (Authentication/Authorization)
  • Knowledge of client-side framework (Bootstrap, Kendo)
  • Strong understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Knowledge of the following:
    • Automated QA Tools: NUnit, Visual Studio Test Suite
    • Databases: Microsoft SQL Server
    • Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows
    • Technologies: .NET, MVC, Javascript, MS Visual Studio, SQL, Java, and/or C programming
    • Other: Microsoft Office including MS Visio, VMWare, Wireshark
  • Experience with IoT based projects a plus
  • Ability to work productively in a team
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly as they are adopted by the engineering team
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 10%, if needed
